Alan Linker, AIF® Senior Vice President/Investments Alan Linker, AIF®, ChSNC®

Senior Vice President/Investments

Alan joined Stifel in 2015 and has 20-plus years of financial services experience along with 10 years of business management experience.  He began his investment services career at Morgan Stanley in 2002 and has been developing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, physicians, and successful business owners ever since.

The special needs community holds a special place in Alan's heart. His nephew has Down Syndrome and one of his daughters was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 12. Alan has a personal understanding of what a family must undertake to care for a special needs child.

In today's climate, Alan understands that investing appropriately and independently can be challenging.  Through a defined and disciplined process, he is committed to ensuring his clients' needs are addressed and their financial strategies are effectively implemented.

Alan's investment mantra is “Portfolio with a Purpose.”  He believes that each client's portfolio should reflect his or her personal financial goals.

In addition to special needs planning, Alan can help you address your complex wealth management needs, including:

  • Retirement income strategies
  • Lending capabilities
  • Strategic portfolio implementation
  • 529 plans
  • Fixed income strategies
  • Insurance and long-term care planning strategies
  • Employer-sponsored retirement plans
  • Transitioning clients relocating to South Florida
  • Portfolios designed to grow and preserve wealth

Alan earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from University of Illinois at Chicago and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Chartered Special Needs Consultant® designations.  He also holds Series 7, 9 & 10, 55, and 66 securities licenses as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including long-term care and annuities).
